  •  I am an enthusiastic but decidedly middle aged multisports and mountain running competitor (Southern Traverse, Individual Speight’s Coast to Coast and eight times Kepler Challenge finisher).

    I work as a GP in Whangarei with a special interest in sports medicine (I am an accredited provider for the NZ Academy of Sport) and in adolescent health. I teach GP registrars under the RNZCGP training programme and 4th and 6th year medical students for the University of Auckland School of Medicine. I also coach football at a highly competitive level.

     I have personally benefited from Allan’s expertise in massage therapy whilst he was practising in Whangarei. I found him to be well organised, thoroughly professional and clinically very effective.

    I looked forward to my regular sessions with him. These relieved the effects of extended training and competing as well as helping healing any intermittent injuries I sustained. His interventions improved my recovery times.  Occasional problems I experienced with niggling low back pain and occupational stress related neck pain improved with his treatment as well.
